Who Runs This Site And What It Is Not
This is an independent comparison site for the ghost tours that can be booked in St. Augustine. It runs no tours, employs no guides, and takes no payments of any kind. The eleven tours compared here are sold on Viator and GetYourGuide, and every booking happens on the operator's own listing page at one of those two platforms. Nobody from this site has taken, ridden, or tested a tour.
The operators behind the cards are A Ghostly Encounter, Last Ghost Tour, US Ghost Adventures, GHOST AUGUSTINE, GhoSt Augustine, A Night Among Ghosts, Historic Tours of America, St Augustine Land and Sea Tours, Haunting Hour St. Augustine, and Ghost City Tours. Their names appear because their tours do; none of them has paid for the mention.
Where The Money Comes From
Commission is the sole income. Some links to Viator and GetYourGuide are affiliate links, which means that if you book a tour after following one, this site may earn a commission from the platform at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same either way. There are no display ads, no sponsored posts, and no other revenue streams.
Which Links Carry A Commission
Tour cards link to the operator's listing on Viator or GetYourGuide, and those links may carry a commission. Hotel cards link to Expedia through Travelpayouts, which works the same way. In addition, two further GetYourGuide listings are linked from some of the guides: an after-dark event at the Old Jail and a daytime trolley tour. Neither of those is one of the eleven compared tours, and the links are marked the same way as the others.
What Money Does Not Touch
No operator pays for placement, ranking, or a write-up. Where tours sit within a category follows review count, nothing else, and low review counts are shown exactly as they are rather than buried. Booking Without Our Links
You are free to open Viator or GetYourGuide yourself and search for the tour by name. Going direct to the operator's own website is another option. A booking made without the affiliate link costs you the same and works the same; the only difference is that this site earns nothing, which is entirely your choice to make.
